Official method: the link from your Google listing

The safest way to get your link, with no third-party tool. It works if you own or manage the listing.

  1. Sign in to Google with the account that manages your business, then search for your business name on Google (or open your Google Business Profile).
  2. Click "Ask for reviews" (or "Get more reviews", depending on the layout).
  3. Copy the link you are given (it starts with https://g.page/r/… or https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=…).
  4. Paste it in the "Paste it here" field above to get the QR code, or use it directly in your texts, emails and website.

Not the listing owner? Get the Place ID with Google's official Place ID Finder, then paste it into the tool above:

How to get your business's Google review link

  1. Paste your link

Open your listing in Google Maps, copy the full URL from the address bar (or your Place ID) and paste it into the tool field.

  2. Copy your link

The direct link to the review window appears: click "Copy link".

  3. Test it

Click "Test the link" to check that the "Write a review" window of your listing opens.

  4. Share it

Send it by text or email, add it to your website or turn it into a QR code to display in your business.

What a Google review link is for

The review link opens the "Write a review" window of your Google listing directly. Customers no longer have to look up your business, find the right button or hesitate: one tap and they are in front of the text box. It is the simplest way to cut the steps between "yes, I was happy" and a published review.

Send it by text or email after a visit, add it to your email signature or website, or turn it into a QR code for your counter, tables or receipts.

Why you need a Place ID, not the Google Maps share link

A link copied from Google Maps (or a short share.google or maps.app.goo.gl link) opens your business listing, not the review window. To open that window, Google needs a specific identifier called a Place ID, which looks like "ChIJ…". The long "0x…:0x…" strings that appear in some Maps URLs are not Place IDs and do not work in a review link.

This tool does the conversion for you: paste a full Google Maps link, a review link or a Place ID and we build the review link. If you only have a short link (maps.app.goo.gl), open it in your browser and copy the full URL it shows.

Going further than a plain link

A link or static QR code asks for a review but gives no reason to do it now and does not tell you how many customers opened it. The AvisBonus wheel adds a game at that moment: the customer scans, leaves a review, spins the wheel and may win a prize offered by your business, with scan statistics as a bonus.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find the link for customers to leave a Google review?
Paste your full Google Maps link, a review link or your Place ID into the tool above, then copy the generated link. It opens the "Write a review" window directly. You can also get it from your Google Business Profile with the "Ask for reviews" button.
Why does my Google Maps or share.google link not work as a review link?
Those links open your business listing, not the review window. A review link needs a Place ID (like ChIJ…). Paste your link in the tool: we find the business and build the right link.
What is a Place ID?
It is the unique identifier of a place in Google Maps, often starting with "ChIJ". Do not confuse it with the "0x…:0x…" identifier found in some Maps URLs: that one does not work for a review link.
Is this free, with no signup?
Yes. The tool is free, needs no account and has no time limit: the link stays valid as long as your Google listing exists.
Do I have to own the listing to use this link?
Not for this tool: the review link is public. Only the "Ask for reviews" method in Google Business Profile requires managing the listing.
Can I offer a reward in exchange for a review?
Not in exchange for a review: Google forbids it, just like fake reviews. You can ask every customer for a review and offer a gift to all of them, with no condition tied to the content or rating of the review.
